01How it works
Four steps from a photo of your ticket or notice to an assessment you can act on.
Upload your ticket or notice
Photograph your PCN, Parking Charge Notice or notice letter. We extract the issuer, contravention, dates and deadlines in seconds.
Answer a few questions
We research the law and your exact location first, then ask only what your case turns on — usually three or four questions, never a form.
Get your free assessment
We show the grounds we found and where we are confident. No clear grounds? We say that, and you decide what to do next.
Copy your appeal letter
Clear grounds get a ready-to-copy appeal written for your exact case, with guidance for the authority or operator portal. Rejected and not taking it further? Your £8.99 comes back.
02Know what you’re up against
Council PCNs
Real penalties from councils and TfL — parking, bus lanes, box junctions. Backed by law, but bound by strict rules at every step: informal challenge, formal representations, then an independent tribunal.
Parking Charge Notices
Notices from operators like ParkingEye or APCOA, claiming you broke terms on private land. Not a fine. Different rules and appeal routes apply, and small details in the notice can matter.
Not sure which you’ve got? Upload it — telling you is part of the free assessment.
Straight talk
If we don’t find clear grounds, we’ll say so.
We only charge when we have enough to write a paid appeal. If the ticket, facts, and law do not give us clear grounds, your assessment will say we are not confident in an appeal. That does not stop you making your own decision, using your own evidence, or getting independent advice — it just means we will not sell you a drafted appeal we are not confident in.
03What drivers say
How it’s gone for other drivers.
“The assessment flagged the signage straight away. The council cancelled my £70 PCN two weeks after I sent the appeal.”
“Told me straight it wasn’t worth fighting and to pay the discount before it ran out. Didn’t cost me a penny to find out.”
“ParkingEye dropped the charge. The appeal cited rules I’d never have found on my own.”
04Common tickets
Start with the ticket or notice you actually have.
The free check works across parking tickets, Penalty Charge Notices and Parking Charge Notices. These are the first ticket types with dedicated guidance because the appeal grounds are often specific.
Airport Parking Charge Notices
Drop-off, no-stopping and airport-road notices can follow a different route from ordinary private parking. Upload the notice and we will check it properly.
Read the guide →Yellow box junction PCNs
Yellow box PCNs are evidence-heavy and fact-specific. Upload the PCN and we will check whether the notice and footage support an appeal.

06Questions
Is the assessment really free?+
Yes. Upload your ticket or notice, answer a few questions, and get your assessment with no card and no account. You only pay if we find clear grounds and you choose to get the appeal letter.
What tickets do you handle?+
We focus on UK parking tickets, Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), and Parking Charge Notices, including airport drop-off charges and yellow box junction PCNs. PCNs can cover parking, bus lanes, yellow boxes and other civil traffic contraventions. Rules vary by nation and ticket type, so if we cannot support a paid appeal we will say so before payment. We do not handle speeding fines or criminal motoring matters.
How do you work out my chances?+
We read your exact ticket, research the law and location, and test your facts against the grounds that can decide appeals. The free assessment shows where we are confident and where we are not.
How long do I have to appeal?+
Usually 28 days, but the 50% discount window is often only 14. We track your deadlines from the moment you upload.
Do I lose the discount if I challenge and lose?+
Usually not. With a council PCN, when the council rejects an early challenge it normally restarts the 14-day window to pay at the 50% discount — so challenging in time rarely leaves you worse off. Always check your rejection letter to be sure. Parking Charge Notices work differently, and your assessment will tell you where you stand.
Is this legal advice?+
No. Appeal It is a drafting and research tool, not a law firm. We help you understand your position and write your own representations.
How does the money-back guarantee work?+
Buy the appeal letter and submit the appeal we wrote. If it is rejected, you can either continue to the next appeal stage or claim a refund of the £8.99 fee.
